'Healing Hands of Time' is a 1994 album by legendary country singer Willie Nelson. Since 1978's 'Stardust,' Nelson has recorded many collections of classic American standards, and 'Healing Hands of Time' is one of his best. Featuring lush orchestrations of strings and rhythmic instrumentation, arranger David Campbell evokes the grand arrangements the masterful Nelson Riddle created for greats like Frank Sinatra and Linda Rondstadt. On, 'Healing Hands of Time' however, Nelson doesn't curtail the selection to only standards - as he includes five songs of his own composition, including favorites like, 'Crazy' and, 'Night Life'. Additionally, four pop standards here include the fabulous, 'All the Things You Are' by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein, as well as a new original by Nelson, 'There Are Worse Things Than Being Alone.' The varied, though equally excellent, tracks make, 'Healing Hands of Time' a great choice for any fan of country, the great American songbook, or the inimitable Willie Nelson.
