The Kominas went on tour in the Summer of 2006 with such punk bands as Al Thawra (Chicago), Secret Trail Five (Vancouver), Vote Hezbollah (San Antonio), Diacritical (DC) and rapper MC Riz (London). All groups consisted of marginalized Immigrant youth of Pakistani, Indian, Syrian, Palestinian, Iranian and even American ancestry. With feet in two separate cultures we took steps to create our own.
