Beyond the Dream is an uneven release from Steve Jolliffe. He seems to be going in three or four different directions at once. This disc has elements of jazz, rock & roll, new age instrumental, electronic space music, and avant-garde experimental dissonance. When Jolliffe loses his focus, his material suffers. This is not a bad CD. It is just not a very good one.
