The all-girl rock band received a commendation from their native France last year presented by the French Minister of Culture. But winning over their high-class home crowd was only the start. After writing their first international hit ("Loser") in high school and playing sold-out shows across Europe while still teenagers, it was never going to be long before Katty Besnard (vocals), Marine Neuilly (guitar), Anais Vandevyvere (drums), and Louise Basilien (bass) needed a few new continents to conquer. About Love is an album of stylishly sexy candy-punk that was produced by Butch Walker (Katy Perry, Pink, Avril Lavigne) and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer (Muse, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand). The result is also the first time the girls have written the majority of their songs in English rather than their native French. Truthfully though, everything sounds pretty amazing.
