The Driving And Dreaming EP features the newly penned title track where Crenshaw holds down all of the instruments except for Hammond organ (Jamie Saft) and which he describes as "a really beautiful nocturnal song about somebody crossing a barren landscape and all of the things that go through your mind at night when you are trying to get from point A to point B, and having a hard time doing it." On the B-side, Crenshaw covers the Bobby Fuller Four's 1965 single "Never to Be Forgotten" and reworks his only Top 40 hit "Someday, Someway," turning the beat upside down and renaming it "Someday, Some Other Way." All three tracks were mastered by legendary engineer Greg Calbi, who will handle mastering duties on the entire EP series.
