Born in Detroit to Argentine parents, Diego Garcia was the frontman for NYC-based garage rockers Elefant and toured with acts like Interpol, Morrissey and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. His new solo work follows the songwriter exploring his Latin roots, conjuring the spirit of 1970s troubadours like Sandro, Jose Jose and Jobim with introspective lyrics, lush string arrangements and delicate Spanish guitars. It is the fusion of these Latin influences with the era's "anglo" visionaries, artists like David Bowie and Leonard Cohen, which makes this
project truly special.
