Nashville based indiĀe-rockers BoomTemple have released their second album, "SoulJob" in multiple digital formats with a limited edition CD release to follow. "I love that they're not following the trends. They're doing their own thing" - Warren Haynes - Govt. Mule/The Allman Bros. BoomTemple lead singer Tony Lindsey and guitarist-writer-producer Kyle Frederick began playing music together in the 1970's in Bowling Green,KY Band mates Kyle Frederick and Tony Lindsey have played together in various projects since their teenage years in Bowling Green, KY. Numerous long-time contemporaries and well-known veterans of the scene make appearances on the new album, including Sam Bush, Bill Lloyd, Byron House, Jonell Mosser, and others. Fenner Castner (Jason & the Scorchers) handles the drum chores on all tracks. Produced by Frederick and Marc Owens, "SoulJob" was mixed by Rob Feaster (George Harrison, Sting, Bruce Springsteen) at Nashville's legendary Quad Studios. A diverse set of tunes ranges from the hypnotically psychedelic "The Girl at the Pork Store" (the tale of a failed flirtation with a San Francisco waitress) to roaring rockers like "Yes I Will." The album's sweeping musical scope matches its powerful emotional punch, with contributions from string wizard Chris Carmichael and Kentucky Headhunter Greg Martin on slide guitar. Percussionists Webb Hendrix and Kyle Jones add intriguing colors to the broad musical palette. "Soul Job" was recorded and released in conjunction with Nashville's Vandermont Music Group, helmed by longtime industry veteran Doug Howard. The follow-up to BoomTemple's 2010 release, "Vaccine," "Soul Job" is available at iTunes, amazon, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Rdio, Zune/Xbox, Mog and BoomTemple.com
