Automatic Loveletter is Juliet Simms, a ferocious 22 year old songwriter and musician with a fresh vision and engaging voice- the band is a new and compelling musical force led by Simms’ unique and genuine brand of songwriting, which she has been developing since she was a teenager.
First discovered and signed, thanks to groundswell of MySpace activity (over 10 million plays to date), when she was only 19, Simms and her longtime drummer and collaborator, Daniel Currier, first recorded with producer Matt Squire for their Recover EP, which was released exclusively by Hot Topic in 2008. The Automatic Loveletter, debut EP came out in early 2009. Combined, both releases have sold over 20,000 units.
